The Legendary Dimension

The Legendary Dimension is the name of a world I created. Awesome. So I'm going to write the tales of all the adventurers I'm going to make.

STORY 1
Shem Glovehero, a self-proclaimed Goblin Smasher, gripped his steel war hammer. The dwarf was going alone into a goblin fortress, and this usually meant death in a gory battle, or unceremonious death by arrow to the face. Whichever, Shem was ready for the challenge. He had made sure that his helmet covered his face properly, so he set out towards the dark fortress Wavedbad.

On the way, a pack of seven vicious wolves decided to attack Shem. Bad choice. He entered a trance, knocking two wolves away with a couple easy smacks of his hammer. Another burst into pieces upon contact with a tree. A fourth and fifth were knocked into a nearby pond, and a sixth was sent flying into the side of a nearby hill. Shem snapped out of it and bashed another's skull into its chest, before looking into the pond. One of the wolves climbed out, just in time to be smacked into a tree.

He waited a while, but it seemed that the last wolf had decided that it wasn't going to drown today. Sadly, Shem didn't know how to swim. So he grabbed his hammer with both hands and shoved it violently into the murky darkness of the deep pool. He heard a canine yelp, and the water became more clouded with blood. "'At should do th' trick," he muttered, and walked away as the corpse of the wolf floated to the surface.

He walked towards the silhouette of dark towers in the distance, obscured by rain, and saw a small pile of about thirty coins. Elven, on further examination. The sun rose a little further past the horizon, and Shem saw a goblin nearby, which he immediately beat into a tree. Trees were useful. Suddenly a goblin drunk saw him, and charged. Shem smacked the goblin into another tree, causing the foul creature to comically burst into pieces. Trees were really useful.

A goblin guard, belonging to the local goblin government the Musty Curse, saw him easily, as the dwarf had forgotten that he was trying to not be seen. Shem beat him into the dirt and picked up the dead goblin's shield. He noticed by the design on the goblin's cloak that the Musty Curse's symbol was a chestnut. How elven. He walked down a hill and sent a drunk flying into a cliff.

He looked over and saw some golden coins from his own civilization. He recognized their symbol, a cabinet. "Now that's a symbol rich with history and meaning, unlike some tree," he thought.

A pair of goblin drunks tried to double team him, but they were bashed into a hillside and a tree, in that order.

Suddenly he heard goblin shouts and the distinctive sounds of antmen. A fight! Go antmen! He snuck along through the trees at the side of the goblin tower the Cruel Fortress when he heard a goblin's shout of triumph, and its shout of surprise as another antman attacked it. Quite a scuffle. Beside Shem, a guard rushed off somewhere. Possibly to the fight, but Shem didn't know where the sounds were coming from. He heard a goblin conversation.

"Damn! Filthy antmen and an assassin dwarf?"

"The Frightful Amazements has already killed several of our goblins and drunks. It's unstoppable!"

"At least he chose the way of honor, sneaking around. It takes a real courageous dwarf to do something besides rush in bringing all his friends."

"Yes, but this is a skilled dwarf. Innocent goblins are dieing."

The two guards had to stop their conversation, as a dwarf had just stepped out of the darkness nearby. A third guard rushed up as Shem broke a couple of a guard's legs. As Shem was distracted, this third goblin slashed out Shem's throat. Shem knew he was going to die, and slammed a guard into a tree. He felt faint, and turned pale as he fought, not even noticing what he was doing anymore.

Shem Glovehero the Frightful Amazements fell to the ground and died in a pool of blood. Next to the dwarf, Amxu Filledmalice, the goblin that slashed Shem's throat out, collapsed next to him, dieing of the same cause.
