Water-building

See pic

I'm not sure if there was any ice, but the map does freeze. Sorry about not having more details, but I was sure it was an already reported bug.

Also, this pic was taken on version 33g.

The problem's not just the range, I also had at the most about 5 ice blocks. And I think I hadn't started digging the ice until after that screen shot.

Can't be only 13000, as the number of blocks can never exceed 99 and here we see 800.  It'd have to be a range of 132,000,000 with a quantity of 8.

Negative distances come from errors in the path components (the distance reports as negative when it can't find a path distance to something it thinks it should be able to find a pat distance for).  It could have come from anywhere...  do you know where the water item in question is?  It could be related to some freezing that occurred around there...

Next time use Alt and print screen at the same time. It doesnt make the picture huge.

The water was most likely 3 or 4 z-levels directly below it and a bit south. I don't think I had the canal system built yet.

The water also froze very strangely: Some strange patch of the brook remained liquid for a couple of months before freezing like the rest of the water. I had tried to heat the brook up from below with magma somewhere else before I noticed it. not sure if it's related. The late-freezing water was about 15 tiles away from the place where I heated it up.
