My First Fell Mood!

So excited. I built a hollow pyramid, and pumped water into the top of it, filling the entire thing with water. I killed about 20% of my population with this drowning machine, so people were a bit bummed out.
A short time later, Kadol Ostathkeskal, Engraver looses a roaring laughter, fell and terrible! In a shade of purple I've never seen before in this game!

I knew these moods existed, but I had never actually had one, no matter how poorly I treated my dwarves. In any case, I now have:

Ilasnar, The Absolute Oblivion, a dwarf bone short sword!

I dunno how useful a bone short sword would be, but it sounds epic as shit.

How about you guys? Have you had this mood, and did you get anything awesome from it?

I got this mood once. My dwarf grabbed my legendary miner and made a dwarf bone helmet. Not only did the helmet cost about 300 dwarfbucks, it also had nothing on it. I can't help but to immagine that my fell mood dwarf just decapitatated the miner and said "I have made a helmet! TROLOLO!"

Mine menaces with spikes of dwarf bone, but it's still only worth 2880 db. Luckily I was planning on drowning my whole fortress anyway, so I don't care about the wealth. Maybe I'll come back as an adventurer so I can dig The Absolute Oblivion out of the sand. Sounds like a King Arthur story to me.

My Baroness made elf dwarf bone greaves once. I treat my dwarves too well now it seems.

EDIT : Sorry elf-bone was wishful thinking.

I'm wondering... did this happen in an evil biome? I have this suspicion that certain evil things might happen more often in evil biomes. Certainly the ghosts seem to be a bit more murderous, in my experience.

It's obvious that the helmet contained the miner's soul. Probably used it to power the little light on the thing.

Totally badass artifact, but kinda weak...

I just got an artifact silver pick. Alright, but more importantly LEGENDARY +2 WEAPONSMITH

Silver picks can probably pierce through steel, I think picks have a damage-weight modifier.
