Bonus Points: Magma-proof (or fireproof, if designed properly) barrels, which cause booze explosions at the time of the sacrifice.  Armok demands pyrotechnics!

Wow, this temple megaproject definetly lives up to the name megaproject. I'm using hundreds of stones and using perhaps 10% of my fortress's population as masons.

This better be released for public adventuring use.

If you had necromancy powers, this would be a pretty solid way to prank people.
A creepy old man runs up to you and suddenly the skin in your backpack tries to kill you? High Octane Nightmare Fuel much.

Megaprojects always use a lot more resources than you first think.  You dig out a room, and that's no big deal.  But you make a room from scratch, and well...

Bonus points if you can get a GCS to spray webs all over the place, for that authentic dungeon feel.

As well as pools of blood, bones, severed body parts, a dragon somewhere, traps, macabre engravings, and if you're really devoted, a lever that changes the layout of the dungeon.

I was thinking of making a giant maze for exploration in Adventure Mode. I think I'll start that project up now, seeing as others are interested in it.

In a callback to DnD and my favouritest monster ever, I think you should make the entire dungeon also a pasture zone, and assign some tame Cave Blobs to it. Granted they won't be as good as their Gygaxian counterparts, but still!

Construction of the temple is doing quite well. It's about 25% or so done and is getting done with pretty good speed. I hope I can begin work on the lower levels as well, but for now I'm working on expanding the crypts/catacombs including a tomb for my baron.
