Anything wrong with this creature?
« on: May 11, 2011, 12:33:33 am »

This is the first creature I've made, so I'd like some help making sure it's correct.  I've tested it in Arena mode, so I know much of it is good.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It's intended to be an exploding fungus ball.  Though I haven't quite got that part right.  The closest I could find was [UNDIRECTED_DUST] as part of a syndrome, which causes a cavein-like effect that usually kills the fungus.  Only the males can "explode".  They also outnumber the females quite a bit.  They also turn into a paralyzing syndrome when killed (if I remember to turn TEMPERATURE back on).

They're intended to be disposable, yet slightly dangerous, ambush detectors.  If anything friendly is too close when they go off it can be nasty.  I'd really like it if anyone could improve it, especially the explosion part.

It was originally a flesh ball that I modified, Though hopefully I removed all of it.

[NOEAT] and similar tags should be [NO_EAT] and similar.

That's part that was left over from the flesh ball.  According to the wiki those ones don't have an "_" in them.

The flesh ball had a few parts I wanted left in, since it's close to the same thing.

I also originally wanted to add the observer skill to it, but I don't want to make it intelligent at the same time.
