Forgive my ignorance, but what is /R ? Right now I'm using a macro to repeatedly pull the lever.

On an unrelated note, it seems like most of my archers are now Hammer Lords because I guess they get more practice using their crossbows like blunt weapons....

Repeat.  Pulling the Lever is the same as any other job, and can be put on Repeat.

Any job can be set on repeat, and pulling the lever is a job.  Pull the Lever /R is a great way to piston some spikes without use of water or any repeater type, so a trap hallway can be hastily constructed or an atom-smashing bridge line turned into a wind-tunnel of rushing death.

I thought I tried putting lever pulling on repeat and it didn't work.... Guess I'll have to try it again. Thanks!

I'm not for danger rooms, but this sound legit and realistic.

Does the pump actully have to pump liquid to work, or can you just build it anywhere and it work?

No, as someone stated earlier the pumps don't actually have to move any liquid.

Considering that I can't get my guys to spar or train worth anything, even after years, I don't have any problem with danger rooms. Dodging and blocking lots of random attacks over and over sounds like great practice to me.
