Universally Available Wood Option for Embark Profiles

Can we get a specific wood to always be available from a civ so we can use that wood type for buckets, splints, etc for embark profiles to reduce the embark problems? Perhaps a special ANY option for materials so I can select ANY Leather Quiver or ANY Wooden Bucket?

I'll third this motion.  It's a little silly sometimes, when half my food and wood items and all my stone all dissapear between every embark save.

Since I assign starting seven labors based upon their personalities and stats, which change every time, the assignment of skill levels is useless already, so it's almost like there's no point in saving embark profiles at all.

ANY thing would be great.
Especially since the differences between wood and wood are currently nihil. I can imagine they will be negligible in many cases, so a any option will be useful in the future too.

Maybe 'common' rather than 'any'.  Then use whatever tag is used to denote nonmagical realworld trees.  Fixes any long term issues with weird wood.

It is very annoying to have a pre-made embark profile only to have to replace every wooden/leather item potentially each time (although I never embark with wooden items, I can make them easily), so something like this should be implemented.

Supported, it should always go for the cheapest thing though, so it isn't bringing elephant tripe over yak meat.

Cow meat is always in, as is Tower Cap items and Cow Leather items.  Steel is always available for metals, though that's three times as expensive as Iron.  Plants & Spawn aren't always available, since you can have 0 cavern layers which would kill all underground life.  (Off topic theory, I think having 0 underground layers will result in dead dwarves in this update.)  Otherwise, all plants and drinks are available.
