I was wondering if there a way to control the size (small, no modifier, or large) of a weapon of armor peace from a reaction?

I ask because I was looking into making tools required to make special armor or weapons. Tools made of material that can't be had until one has hit some bench mark. Something like tools that must be made of nether-cap, adamantine, (or a fuzzy wambler severed bronze colossus head.)

I don't think you can control the size of armor, no.

But you can require tools made out of specified materials in reactions, and reactions can be used to make weapons, armor, and materials (so one option is to make it so you can't refine certain metals without tools like you describe, which would then be used to make armor via the usual method).

:D That's what I've done so far, but I've taken a step further. The 'tool' required so far is a modified jug, but I take it a step further. I use that tool to get a civilization specific material put in the modified jug. Then plan to use that combination to make new and unique materials.
