Funny enough, it seems the writers are the real fate, and anyone that contributes to the story are just filling in the blanks that have already been pre-planned, like a multiple-choice question without an "Other _____" option. This will eventually lead to the conclusion that after Spore, Will Wright is God. He is the center of the galaxy (in-game) at least.

While yes the writers script the lines and the specifics of what goes on as well as the final say. its the community that pitches and votes on the episodes down to the plot and story, props, physycal descriptions, and symbolism.  the first 9 episodes are pretty much done and just getting fleshed out thats why there arnt very many things to work on, the remaining 3 episodes havn't even been started thats why they don't have titles yet.
