I'm going with Archangel. Theres no way I can follow those rules. The whole "Paper-rock-scissors" thing was for a small bonus against that unit type. Like a few extra points in AT and DF. It wasn't meant to be taken to an extreme.

And Gunslinger still makes no sense. It would better serve as artillery.

Edit: Archangle stole my Legionaries!

I like it, but....

Gunslinger?

Edit: My units have health in the hundreds. I thought it was like that.

Edit 2: I think Gunslinger would be best renamed Artillery seeing as its basically the same as soldier.

Edit 3:
flyer beats gunslinger
gunslinger beats flyer

Wat?

Edit 4:
In fact, I don't like this. It makes things way too restraining. Before you were like "Anything goes". Now your like "EVERYTHING MUST BE SET AT THE SAME LEVEL DUE TO GUIDELINES".

If you don't change that I may leave.

Okay, look. Don't get pissy at me because I'm trying to keep units from going LOL 300 ATK 2000 HP 80 PV LOL.

I'll change it if you want, but don't try fucking with me on this one. I just spent 6 hours PUKING MY FUCKING GUTS OUT and i'm not about to take shit for it.

If that system isn't going to work, maybe we can try a new one?

We do need a new one.  Perhaps some sort of point-buy system?  Many units completely overpower the others, and we have no idea how to arrange them.

I'm just trying to make my units somewhat accurate to the games, I leave the prices up to you since I'm not sure how to price them.

It's fine. I am trying to follow MY rule of thumb, and it doesn't make any sense to ME. The guy who made them.

Holy jesus, this is like the myspace of war games.

Err, what did you expect?  You told a bunch of strangers to make things without much guideline as to how it works.  That's like following a map that has no scale on it; is that five feet to your left, or eighteen miles?

A pointbuy system is a primitive way of doing it, but it works like this.  10 AT is worth 1 PV.  5 DF is worth 1 PV.  15 HP is worth one PV.  Being able to repair is 3 PV.  Etc.  So if I wanted to have this;

Example
HP:  30
AT:  20
DF:  15
SPC:  Repairs

It'd cost 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 = 10 PV.  Those are randomly picked values, so balance them at your own whim.

I will accept anything that doesn't restrict us too much. Also, the unit types should also be small bonus to each other. Not like change everything.

And change gunslinger to Artillery dam it!

I say no unit types, just SPC that interact with eachother.  A Melee SPC decreases cost by 2, but they can't hit Flying SPC (+2), or ones out at water (+1).  Vehicle SPC means no wounds (+1), and anti-armor shells do more damage to them (+1 per extra 10 AT?).  Stuff like that.

If you must use classes;
Tanks > Soldier
Soldier > Artillery
Artillery > Tanks

A helectoper would be a Soldier flier, a bombing ship would be an Artillery flier, Dreadnaught would be Tank, etc.

Edit:
A sniper would be Artillery.  A foot-soldier would be Soldier.  I don't know if any unarmored humans would be Tanks, though it's possible that a Demolition expert would be?  I still don't like hard-coded types.  I'm still going to classify my units as "Artillery", "Light Infantry", "Heavy Infantry" and "Calvary", so to speak.

My 'types' cover my units, only one Battle type isn't melee and I'll mention that, only one Magic type isn't ranged, I'll mention that, and Fire is good in both, but as I said tend to cost more for being the best all around.
