Hi. I've been playing DF a bit, but not for the last six months or so. I've returned to the game and have picked up quite well - I have a legendary wood crafter during my first year!

But here's the problem - for some odd reason, my dorves don't haul refuse to the correct stockpile. Or any stockpile. Why won't they? I clearly remember them cleaning up correctly back then.

Is the refuse outdoors?
What exactly are you trying to haul?

The refuse is outdoors, and the stockpile is the standard refuse pile. Are dead little animals completely harmless on the surface?

go the the {o} orders menu, you have to set outdoor refuse to be collectable and outdoor vermin refuse needs to be collectavle too if you have that
