Well, California would be the 4th richest nation in the world if it were counted on its own*.

*Statistic is old and I don't guarentee its accuracy.  Still, it is or was a pretty damn rich state.

That is wrong. We are actually doing rather well. Fox news likes to pretend that we are, but there is no truth to that statement, especially compared to other states. I will shortly attach supporting documents that I do not have the time at the moment to locate.

We DO subsidise other states. California pays more to the feds than we recieve, like most blue states. Most red states, on the other hand, actually get more money from the fedral government than they pay out. This is because while both parties are corrupt, only republicans are corrupt and effective.

And the Gubernator is out. Anyway, his wife was the real power, and she was extremely democrat, which is why he acted the way he did. Besides, it was worth it just for the tourism commercials they made with him.

wow, what a load of shit.  California the last 2 years received bail outs from the Fed via the new "america bonds".  Problem is, you cant pay back your current bonds.  The interest on your current bond debt alone is more than your entire GDP.  That is why those evil conservatives want to stop any state bailouts this year.

I hate california for being the great sucking vapid hole of the US.  Or to put it another way, I hate everywhere that isnt Texas
