Caravan Weight

I just noticed something.  If you're having trouble having the annual caravan being too light, and unable to take your superheavy silver tables, you can have them bring platinum nuggets.  These weight a metric frak-tonne, and when you buy them it lets up a lot of weight on the horses, allowing you to sell your own heavy wares.

Perhaps, but if you want to make sure the caravan has enough weight to spare, like you're tired of seeing those no-quality rock tables sitting around your stockpile, you can always do this for some easy money.
