Im pretty sure sedimentary is mostly affected by a lack of volcanism and high drainage. Igneous appears in areas of volcanism with the level volcanism determining intrusive and extrusive. What about metamorphic? Are there other factors for sedimentary and igneous? Are there stones within layers that like certain specific factors?

Some sedimentary stones (limestone, sandstone, shals, maybe one or two others) form under oceans.

Metamorphic and intrusive igneous are basically everywhere.

Extrusive igneous appears in areas of high volcanism.
