Mostly cause there hasn't really been any new and good ones coming out....its all so slow..and it seems like tons of people want survival games...yet they are no where...its a genre that major companies wont touch and indie developers take much longer...major developers just want the basic formats that have won them so much money...everything is carbon copies of everything else....welcome to corporate America where money is all that matters! (sorry bout the unrelated rant)

Yeah, if I can get another good survival game like rogue survivor id be damn happy.

There was/is a number of Warcraft 3 custom maps that were survival themed. (Troll Island Tribes, ferex.) Presumably they're still out there, somewhere, and similar stuff is probably being made for other mod-capable games.

As for mainstream ones, there's the Lost in Blue series on the DS. Only one I've noticed.

Well, I know people have said the old thread was good enough or whatever, but a collected list in one place could be a good thing to have/refer to if you're up to collecting what people say ScriptWolf. Off the top of my head (so I KNOW I'll forget things):

UnReal World
Wurm Online
Haven and Hearth
Stranded 1/2 (I've only played 2)
