My dorfs won't train any animals.
« on: January 19, 2011, 04:52:07 am »

I'm fairly sure I do have an animal trainer because I have a crapload of war dogs running about (and nothing to do with them...). I've also got some tame dogs, but when I go to the kennels, my dorfs go "But there's no animals!"

And I go "There's one right there."

"Noooo," say they, "that, my friend, is obviously a dwarf in a dog suit."

Then I need a beer about just as much as Urist McMiner.

Please advice.

Are those animals
- owned
- caged
- chained?

If so, they are untrainable at the moment.

None of the dogs are caged, chained, or owned.

If it doesn't say 'stray dog' it is owned.

Oh.

Well, they're taming some dogs now, anyway.
