BODY_SIZE: Mass or volume?
« on: January 19, 2011, 02:37:01 am »

Title basically says it all. The wiki says it measures mass, or at least implies it, but I somehow doubt this, as it seems like a bad idea and I can swear remembering that it's volume.

it's volumn. Mass is calculated from the sum of volumn*density of all of a creature's components.

How to test: make a creature made of lead and a creature made of hydrogen. Give them equal body size then cage them both is cages of the same material. Check the weight of the cage. If they weight differently then they are only same volumn. If the weight are the same then they are of same mass.

I figured it was volume, but I thought someone was disagreeing with me so I wanted to double-check.
