Megabeast VS trap hall?

Will that work? Or do I send in the adamantine equipped troops?

Traps (cage/weapon/rocks etc) don't do anything to it. spikes put on repeat mince anything up, from kobolds to slime demons.
Either send in the troops or, better, shut off your fortress and make them run into a Thor's Hammer (3*3*3 wall kept 1 level in the air by nothing but a support). I have one at each entrance, walled off in blast rooms with a drawbridge for a door. Kills anything stupid enough to blow the support.

I don't freaking believe this.

What do I do with a caged bronze colossus? More mark training? Melee seems a little risky.

I thought I saw blood. Turns out that was goblin blood from a former siege where the trap hall gave us some nice training mark training.

Actually markstraining is a good idea.  Bone bolts shouldn't hurt your bronze friend and your marxdorfs should actually shoot the thing.

Yah, I know.

Annoying part is my marks are elite and my melee are adequate.

you can never have enough trained marksdwarves.  Time to recruit some civies into squad 2.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.
