Mac Install Help
« on: January 17, 2011, 03:30:47 pm »

Hello.

I'm running into a problem getting df to work on my mac.

I've got a 2003 PowerBook running Mac OS X.

I had DF 31.14 up and running about 6 months ago.  I tried to replace it with 31.16 in November, and lost my copy of .14 in the process.

Now, I cannot get df to run.  I've tried re-installing.

Terminal gives me the message "cannot execute binary file"

Any ideas what's wrong?  Help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

No Intel.  Power PC.

And I understand that this means I cannot run the newer versions, but like I mentioned I had .14 running fine, and now I can't make it work.

Hmm.  Downloaded old version (wow, big file!) and now stuffit crashes when I try to unzip it.  I'm starting to think my computer just hates me.

Ok, got .12 working (thanks for the link!)

If anyone has ideas about getting .14 back up and running, that'd be super, but I'm very happy to have some dwarvies again!
