How to find my old fort.

I have lost where my last fort was placed. It died and now I want to explore it in adventure mode. Any easy way of going about this?

In game on travel menu press M It may show the U marking a fortress..

I usually go into fortress mode and go to reclaim mode (but don't embark) and then sort out where it is on the map, memorizing the names of the area around it..helps to sort out the general area.

Didn't I make a post about this exact same idea a little while ago?
Check the other pages before you make a new topic. Someone, like myself, may have already asked that same question, and been answered.
