i want to make glass windows, yet when i go to my magma glass furnace there is no option for it, just make green glass make clear glass and make crystal glass and collect sand.  i have LOTS of raw green glass, how do i make windows?

If you select your glass furnace, and then the option make <whatever type of> glass, you should get a 2nd menu where you may choose which item to make (the first option of that list is to make raw glass)

And if you have glass, you should have the ability to construct a window like any other furniture, with the [b.] menu. At least that's what the wiki says.

Alternatively, a gem window can be directly constructed from three cut gems of any type (including cut glass), but can't be made from large gems.

Not sure what applies, though.

Not entirely true. You can make a gem window from it, but that would be foolish.
