K, I'm not sure if this should be in the modding forum or what, but I put it here to be safe. I was wondering if anyone was planning on making a Warhammer 40K conversion for DF for some odd reason?

If so, can I beta test it? :P

This should be in the modding forum, but no matter.

A Warhammer 40k mod would be woefully incomplete. We can't make vehicles because the [MOUNT] tag doesn't work. Even if it did, we couldn't make anything that could hold more then one soldier because we don't have multitile creatures yet.

Still, the work on the races could be done. That's going to take enough time to do properly

"PowerGoal5" Seigecraft is part of the army arc development phase. If that is implemented sometime later, wouldn't the backbone needed for seigecraft to function also allow vehicles to exist? I don't know how Toady is handling powergoals, though. So it could be forever until vehicles are even considered.

Isn't a warhammer mod way easier to do than a warhammer 40k mod?

I thought the same thing. Even the mainstay, Bolters, are not possible currently.

Even Warhammer Fantasy won't work too well until Toady gets armies to fight during play. Perhaps something akin to Mordhiem might work?
