Would it be at all possible to create a reaction to take a FB/Titan corpse made of an inorganic substance and reduce it to usable units of that material? Like melting down an iron titan into 10 iron bars, or grinding down a giant flatworm composed of aquamarine into rough gems?

I think you can do that by modifying the tissue templates for the Forgotten Beast/What have you.

For instance, if you defined a new skin tissue composed of steel, I believe you could butcher the creature and melt its skin/bones/whatever down to ingots. I'm not sure though.

I don't know if the issues regarding the CORPSE item token are fixed or not. If they are, it might be possible if you tell a reaction to grab a corpse made from a (very specific) material and create a (again, very specific, no modifications based on creature size or whatnot) product based on that.

This isn't viable as RC creatures are generated from scratch at world generation and the only raws associated with them exist in the save file.

Oh damn, you're right... Well then, I don't think it's possible. I forgot that they're saved within the save file.

One could still attain the wanted effect by creating semi-megabeasts or something in that vein to plague fortresses.

A new reaction that makes corpses to bars/blocks/boulders/whatever could work.
