Nice recovery.  Hope Santi isn't gathering forces for a counterattack...

Year 3130

Nope, Sati isn't marshalling forces for a counter attack.  Those fucking mindworms are!  Fucking mindworms!

Diedre also showed up from the south.  She wanted my tech on social phyche, I told her I wanted laser weapons as compensation, she said no.  Diedre then decided a different tac, she tried to sell me Lal's frequency for 25 energy credits.  I told her no.  She then insulted my fundamentalist ideology, the witch.

Year 3131

Colony pod en route to Western border unguarded, as all my forces are converging again against Santiago.  I've lost almost all of my scout patrols from mindworms!  I've only lost 1 unit from Santiago.  So the tally is, 1 loss on my side, and 1 captured alien artifact, 2 lost recon rovers and 1000 colonists killed in the fighting for the Colonel.

Year 3132

3 Scout Patrols moving up onto Santiagos territory, 1 colony pod in production in the north at Righteous Sentence and the rest are making formers for themselves.  The attacking forces better not incur too many losses, as reinforcements have been cut off, I need to build and expand my empire again.

Year 3133

Santiago put up a new front to deal with by bringing out a recon rover from the great wall of fungus deep into my territory.  I've pulled back 1 scout patrol into the rocks and swapped production to another at Righteous Sentence.

Year 3134

I moved up on Santiago's base of Ironholm and descovered it to be guarded by synthmetal laser squads, decided to immediately bribe her for a blood truce in exchange for my files on centauri ecology.  I wont be able to beat her as she is.  I then decided I need an ally to butter up for technology.  I called up deidre and bribed her with technology for a pact sisterhood.  I'll sit on the alliance for a few years then ask her ever so kindly for tech.

Personally, I think you should have just taken Ironholm and then sold it back to her. Or kept it, really, but selling it works too.

Impossible, she reinforced it before I could move in the following turn.  Then on the second attempt I was flanked by mindworms.

I rejoice in your bitter fundamentalist tears. This is going to be fun to watch. Unless, you know, Planet burns down your entire colony. Somehow, I don't think Mind Worms were part of the Planet Promised Land Official Plan.
