Question about Race Gender

I have a modding question, and it is that if I remove all [FEMALE] tags from a sentient civilization race (Make it completely male), will this erase them from being able to start civilizations in the first place, or will they be able to stay as a civilization, and hopefully live up to the present? And if so, does that mean the amount that they start with is all they will have, and never get more in worldgen?

Single gender races will be placed, but what they start with is all they have.  Most races will be wiped out in a couple of years due to this fact.

Ah, dang, I guess it's not possible without making said race overly powerful enough to survive eons of years...

Perhaps increase their learning abilities. Often skilled creatures stand a greater chance at surviving battles during world generation.

Perhaps increase their learning abilities. Often skilled creatures stand a greater chance at surviving battles during world generation.

Interesting idea, seems like it might work. Might have to up the starting civ number then, to make sure it somewhat keeps up in population.

Make them immortal so that they don't die of old age and set them to start with a larger population than normal.

Also, if that wouldn't ruin your picture of the race, make them live in caves or something similar. I noticed kobolds go awfully untouched by wars.
