Bees are too valuable
« on: February 17, 2011, 08:01:20 am »

It's come to my attention that bees are extremely valuable, too much. Each bee is worth 1 db, but the bees come in stacks from 10k-20k, and the most efficient way to increase fortress wealth is to have beekeepers filling new hives.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I don't think the game keeps track of fractions of dwarfbucks, so I'm not sure they can go down any more...

Bees shouldn't be worth anything.

Or rather, any bee that isn't a queen or mating caste capable of becoming a queen shouldn't be worth anything.

Bees should be worth something, but only as a collective colony, not as an individual bee.

I think it is an oversight. It may be corrected soon.
