The Bay 12 Games Report, December 1st, 2010

Mission Status

The caravan mission is now.  Let’s break down the plan.  The towns already create and store goods and are connected by trade routes.  The local hamlets support the larger towns that soon will be trading throughout the land.  Markets will allow the peasants to trade their food for tools, and great fairs will allow everyone to buy goods from all over the world.

Perhaps more exciting is the soon to be added raws for domestic animals and other raw materials.  This means your dwarves will be able to collect eggs, shear sheep, and make clay pots.  New underground plants will be pressed for oil used for cooking and soap.

This might seem a little mundane for some of you, but you want to have working villages when you start cracking skulls.  Army arc is on the horizon!

Congratulations to all who have supported us.

We would be sunk without you!

Fun with Numbers

November went very well.  I'm glad people enjoyed adventure mode!

November:  $4030.76

Reward reminder:  If you support us, you can pick either an ASCII Art Reward or a Crayon/Colored Pencil Art Reward.  An ASCII Art Reward is basically a mini-Threetoe story (examples) and a Crayon Art Reward is a crudely drawn scene which we sketch, color in, and mail to you, anywhere in the world (assuming your contribution covers postage, which is about a dollar almost wherever you are).  We take personal requests for either reward as well, he he he.  You can also be listed among the Bay 12 Champions.
