Speed drops down at Superhuman Agility
« on: January 04, 2011, 12:03:32 am »

I made an adventurer, and after a few of my fights noticed that I was getting like 1 hit for every 3 hits they attacked with, and was missing almost all of my hits. My speed went from 1500 to 600, and I went from superior agility to superhuman agility, wtf is this?

Are you lying down?
Is a leg damaged?
Are you carrying a ton of crap?

Nope, I have nothing other than a suit of armor, and I also have superhuman strength.
I read somewhere that this happened to someone else too, but I can't remember where.

Lol, stupid crutches. I picked up a crutch and put it in my hands before [p]utting it into my backpack, and the game still treated me as a crutch-walker, which made me have such a low speed.
Apparently, crutches have some odd glitch where if you hold one in your hands, you automatically use it, and the only way to deactivate the crutch-walking status is to drop it (from your hands), which isn't triggered if you put it in your backpack and then drop it.

Thanks for making me examine my character's stats and items though, probably woulda just have abandoned the adventurer if I didn't find it.

I was just about to ask you that. This has been reported on as far back as last June.
