aboveground plants on an underground plot
« on: December 29, 2010, 04:35:45 pm »

So the most recent time i flooded and underground plot i did so by channeling upward (using the dig ramp des.) and was struck by the fact that i could task both aboveground and underground crops to the plot. now i realize that this likely wont allow me to grow surface plants on underground squares, but i wonder if anyone else has noticed this, and if they have any ways to turn this to ones advantage.

Either surface or underground plants can be tasked to a plot, not both, and only on the proper tiles. If you had a plot that was 50% above ground, and 50% below, only half would ever be planted, with which half depending on which plant you order to be planted.
