The * is the symbol for a coin I believe. Now i sold a bunch of unwanted weapons to a trader I received from a Woman bandit who wouldn't die. I kept slashing her limbs off and finished her off with decapitating her. Here only limb left was here left hand. Getting back to the point, how can i collect this debt? I don't want items from him I want my coins.

PS
I have been posting loads of help topics but they help loads. For instance i was getting so frustrated when i sold all my weapons for Copper armour and then I didn't get it.

-UPDATE-
I returned to the store to see a gold coin on the table that was meant for me i picked it up and they didn't mind it and when i trade with the trader the " Trader owes you " text was not there. I am guessing that a gold coin is 15 *

Yeah, Any cash that's  owed to you will appear on the table. It's not marked with $$

Items the trader owes you don't magically appear in your inventory; you have to pick them up first.
