Naked children [38b]
« on: March 20, 2008, 03:47:00 pm »

I wasn't sure how to phrase this topic title.

This kid is standing in my fort, covered in vomit and blood, and drinking strawberry while whilst naked.
The kid may have grown from a baby at some earlier date.

Of course, they are born without any clothing.

While whilst?

Well, kids these days. Always trying to be original. Or maybe he's been abused (explains the vomit and blood) and he's drinking it off. Okay, that's a little weird.

I had something similar once but I don't know that it's a bug. An injured metalcrafter gave birth to a baby girl. The metalcrafter refused to get out of bed to take care of the baby. The little tyke wandered around and eventually decided she liked the above-ground statue garden I built.

I built the garden to get my dwarves outside once in a while (to avoid cave adaptation). Trouble is, everyone likes it so much taht even the cave-adapted ones go up there. The place is covered in puke all the time now. Every dwarf under the sun was up there puking on the baby.

Did you have free clothes for the kid to run off and grab?  They don't get clothes automatically if they are born there.

I've never seen a kid get clothes until they grow into a peasent.

I'll note it down and run a test at some point.
