Which USSR vessel are you talking to?

Do you pilot a Troop transport? if yes, then I'm talking to you. otherwise i'm probably talking to Tarc

[1]: The Omnitech ship says back "We intercepted your transmission, we know you are after the Artifact." Upon the priming of the BFG a sudden malfunction takes place, and targeting sensors are scrambled. The Union ship opens fire on you.
Roll to survive the attack:[4]: The union ship fires off its weapons, disabling shields and doing some damage to the hull.

[1]:You try to intercept the boarding pods, but your attempts fail miserably and the launched ships are torn apart with few survivors.
Fight against the boarding party:[5]: You manage to hold them at bay for now, but fighting is fierce and there is a chance they might break through your lines.

[6]:You blast away at you the USSR ship, disabling its shields and doing damage to it's hull. Suddenly an alien alliance vessel appears on the sensors for a moment and attacks, before disappearing.
Roll to not get blown apart:[2]: The sudden attack catches you off guard, and it disables your shields.

No time for Diplomacy anymore! Activate the "Weapon Platform Mode" In which the ship stand still, all the energy from his massive reactores redirected to the shields and his myriads of guns firing away. Also send a few volleys of missiles with a few boarding drones (Robots built to land on a ship's hull, tear it apart and wreck havok inside) hidden as regular missiles.

Oh, and send a team to repair the BFG that messed, while shooting the others three.

Also, did my Point defenses intercept ANYTHING?

Bombers: Focus all fire on their communications. Try to cut them off from their boarding parties Scratch that, they probably have built in comms systems. Tell the bombers to hit anything that looks important (weapons, engines, the bridge, etc)

Fighters: 1/2 of the fighters will run interference for the bombers. the other half will prevent any more boarding parties from landing.

Launch every damned fighter and bomber
Fire Anti-Ship Railgun at the USSR Ship with intent to destroy wherever they're launching boarding parties from
Point Defenses Will Fire On Anything That Isn't Ours

Seal off the areas containing enemy boarding parties, Get security loaded up with anti-robot weaponry or other weapons that can scramble circuits.

Send a contact report/ distress signal to HQ. State belief that there is AT LEAST 1 more ship escorting the troopship. Even a robot wouldn't be so insane as to enter enemy territory without an escort

Evasive manuvers! Have pilots keep the ship moveing in an odd maner to attempt to prevent lock-ons by fireing systems of the enemy. Have the ship fire all weapons on the USSR vessel. Have all spare hands that aren't already busy get to trying to find that Xeno ship.
