what Karnewarrior is asking is a formatting and citation issue, not a content issue, and what you're asking is basically saying "hey dudes i didn't do my homework, please do it for me because i expect to get everywhere in life by being such a failure people feel compelled to do everything for me out of pity"

Have you tried searching for research papers or books yet? You may be able to get a hold of them, or bug your teacher to no end with requests

Websites on .edu domains are usually just the personal sites of various academics, generally featuring poor html and lots of crazy ramblings.

Many universities' sites also end in .edu, maybe that could help?

Come to think of it, I don't think many *.edu sites host much stuff besides very-institution-related material.  Which is to say, I don't think you're going to find anything relevant on such sites, especially since *.org is usually the accredited stuff.  Maybe you should ask her, like, what sites she has in mind, since it doesn't sound like she has a firm grasp of what the Internet is.
