Okay, I've downloaded it and will take a look at some point.  Hopefully when I remove one of them and put it back, it won't create a floor, so I can fix it.  Otherwise, I don't have any ideas.

I've had that problem, too.  Replacing the wall didn't do anything, and the tile lacked the "Open Space" identifier of neighboring tiles.  Even ones without constructions built under them lacked that identifier.

It created a floor when I removed the wall and built it again.  I'm not sure what was up the first time, but we'll just have to leave this to stew for now.

I've had this same exact problem, in the past.

Here's a video I took of the issue. It's from a while ago, so I don't have a save anymore.

The problem persists. Seems to be location-dependant, too.

I don't have a picture of it now, but I once queued up two rows of walls, parallel, up on a constructed building. Walls on one side had a floor above, on the other side had none. De- and re-constructing the walls restored the floor. When I built rows of ramps over those walls (I wanted to make a sort of a sloped roof), the ramps on the side where there initially was floor created down ramps on the above level (there already was a central wall above the first two) fine, while those on the formerly "roofless" walls did not.

I may have a guess though. I don't really remember right, but the walls on the right (floored) side were built starting from a wall that already had a connection to a wall below. Those on the left, un-floored, may have been constructed from a "hanging" side, with the walls not being held up by anything save a wall below&to the side. If some bug held the walls themselves in place, then whatever procedure removes the floor above a collapsing wall may have still triggered. Just a guess, but you might want to check that possibility out...

I have noticed this bug many times during the construction of Tourtomes.

Little "patches" of tiles in 4x4 (or so) areas will refuse create a floor on them when there's a wall underneath. I have hit these at the level directly above "ground" level, and I have had it 5 or so z levels above ground level. These don't have an "open space" description, instead completely lacking a description. I have a video somewhere on the DFMA showing this.

EDIT: Silly me, I seem to have already posted in this thread... I was under the impression that this was a new thread, for some reason. I think I need to get more sleep.
