I turned off any and all attack requirements for Titans in my current world. As I worked on my first actual project, "The Towers of Blood," dwarven skyscrapers which were supposed to be at least 50z high, Ocig Onshenzedot Rikkirolil, the Tundra Titan, decided to visit and check on my progress.

In the ensuing slaughter, a caravan came to trade. I didn't have a trade depot up, so only the diplomat was onscreen. He was very aware of the Titan, yet decided to mosey on around and find who exactly ran this fort. My expedition leader was essentially dead in the hospital:

Apparently a society torn to shreds by a beast of unimaginable strength is petty when industry and trade are involved.

As of just now, my "settlement has crumbled to its end."

I really like that corpses indicate military status in this version. Here we can see the hastily drafted army of civilian wrestlers, sent to their deaths at the hands of the titan.
