Ok, so, i have never really gotten into adv mode, i've played fortress mode a ton, and have some questions that i can't find answers to.

Firstly, is there a way to find out how much something is worth when i go into a store trade screen?
in fortress mode, there is the appraiser skill that your broker can use to show how much the stuff in your depot, and in the merchants inventory is worth. Anything like that in adv mode?

Second, how do i actually get a store merchant to give me money? It tells me often that i am owed money.

Thirdly, what are coins worth? i often find them laying about dragon and wyrm lairs, copper silver and gold, with diferent names on them, are all gold worth the same? And if so, how many copper per silver, per gold?
100 copper  = 10 silver = 1 gold?

to find a value, select what you want to find the value of and press 'a', which will ask for 9000, and press enter. The merchant will reply with it's value, and that's the price he'll give you for it. I'm not sure about exchange rates, and the numerical system is a mystery to me. Alternately, G resets the value, and L or something offers 9000. What's more useful though is H, which will offer 1$.

Ah, great, thanks for the advice folks.

So, i'm just going to chuck the coins i've found on the ground, i have no idea what kingdom i am in, nor do i want to risk losing everything. Plus, they make so much clutter in the inventory!!

by lose everything, he meant that all coins are worth 1 in foreign kingdoms.

So, another question:

Why are these coins i have traded with from merchants not showing up in the trade screen?
Is it not possible to buy from merchants with coin?
