I just had a very Dwarf Fortressy dream.

It started out more D&Dish.  Some guy had challenged me to meet him at the local tavern, so after puttering around doing stuff I don't remember I ended up entering the tavern, and pushing both doors open which a voice I couldn't figure out the source of commented on being really bad ass.  It was dark and I could just barely see outlines, so I went on guard.  I spotted a guy trying to impale me with a sword so I grabbed it and redirected it into his buddy's midsection.  Then it just sorta turned into a clusterfuck and I was doing really well and finally decapitated the last guy with his own axe.  But then apparently they had all been biting me the whole time and I hadn't noticed so I died with my lower body and left arm and leg completely chewed through, and muttered something like "What the hell?"  before waking up. :)

It's not really about adventure mode though is it.  It's just a Dwarf Fortressy dream.
