Seed without rejects
« on: December 22, 2007, 06:54:00 pm »

I was wondering if anyone has yet found a seed without rejects in 33g.

I don't care what features the map has - I just use it to test mods.

Breaking seed 0 was one of the worst things that have happened to this game.  :) )

Hi, first post here.

[WORLD_GEN]
   [TITLE:STANDARD]
   [SEED:1792331571]

6 left and 9 down on world map has a named volcano with a pit type chasm, sand, lots of wood, and right by the beginning of the brook there is a formation that I've not seen yet.  It appears to be a second magma tube but it's filled with water, along with a bunch of water baddies.

seed 1485 has 0 rejects as well, but I haven't really looked it over for good sites yet.

I just stuck in my birth date (january 4th 1985) for fun and it came out 0 rejects. What a coincidence, eh?

Funny thing is that when first generating a world I tried 0 and after I got thirty rejects I tried a random seed.  This was the first one that came up.  Haven't had much of a chance to look at features yet.

Seed 3095217989, from "The Perfect Seed" post.

He listed it as having 18 rejects, but I just tried it and got 0 rejects.

Unfortunately, it changed in this latest version so it looks nothing like what he posted. Oh well.

So there's that, as well. It looks like the only chronic problems that water can't cure are nausea and cave spider bites.
Which, coincidentally enough, can be cured by magma.

I tried LordoftheCats' seed... insane. I went with a 16x16 area just to look around and managed to hit a cave, magma, tube chasm, 3 deep tube full of water (bottom floor isn't full, so the water sinks causing massive lag), a resident dragon, probably 20 each giant cave spiders and giant (cave?) swallows, and even more ironmen. There was plenty of exposed hematite as well, though no flux that I saw (no sedimentary layers at all in the biomes).

Here's a pic of a more plausible size:

Fast world creation in order to test out creatures and/or major mods to the game without having a huge speed bump in the process.

Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.
