Go Mr. Raccoon
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:14:43 pm »

So I was a little annoyed at my dwarves when they were all frightened by the nearby raccoon until it got this report:

I don't blame them, that's one beasty raccoon....

My child got ripped to shreds by invading goblins, which caused my wife to go mad and was shot down by the town guard for attacking the brewer and they both rotted before my eyes....

But dayyumm my room looks nice

Well atleast a bear didn't drink 40 gallons of booze faster then it takes an elf to die while submerged in magma.

Ya, DF raccoons are famous for stealing anvils.  Its like a hairy ball of angry.
I think dwarves see some kinship, so they avoid them.

I want to mod in a magma-temperature alcohol, as a trap for those damned bears!

No use, once they drink it, that can keep it down, NO MATTER WHAT! Unless ist is so hot that the bear melts before it gets close enough, but that would melt your dwarves too.

The more important part is this inevitable situation

Urist McBrewer is bringing plant to the still
Urist McBrewer is bringing wooden barrel to the still
Urist McBrewer cancels brew drink: on fire.

A man would see that as a difficult challenge.
An elf would see that and despair.
A dwarf would see that and say, "Bring it on."

Are you sure? Apparently superheated venom transfers heat to the victim now. (ie. they spontaneously combust)

Yes, but venom goes into the blood. Eaten objects just spontaneously vanish from existence.
