Ice fishing?
« on: October 02, 2006, 11:46:00 pm »

Spring has just arrived (1st of Granite) and an eager beaver of a dwarf headed out to fish, even though the river's frozen and likely to stay that way for a while (I'm in a coolish climate). So he's sitting at the river. This has literally just happened so I don't know what happens next... but do Dwarves ice fish? If so then why not fish throughout the winter? I suspect they do not in fact ice fish and this is some sort of a bug.

There aren't any ice checks, so the dwarf should treat it like a regular water square and be able to catch things if there are things there.
