My avatar won't display properly.

My avatar on this forum will not display. I have tried this with a number of different images and they do not render properly or appear at all. Any ideas on why this is or how to get around this?

It doesn't display right for me either.  I've seen this happen with multiple avatars.
What I believe your issue to be is not actually linking to an image.
http://media.photobucket.com/image/dragon symbol/fashiondream/dragon.gif?o=9 is not the URL of an image, it's URL of the page which has the image on it.
Try http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh259/fashiondream/dragon.gif instead.
In the future, you can find the actual URL of the image by looking at the direct link section of the 'share this photo' section of the page with the image on it.
