How do i play as tigerman?

Hello, i have seen many times people claiming they are tigermen, how do i play as a tigerman?

The Civilization Forge mod has Tigermen as a playable race. There may be other Mods that make this possible but this is the only I've seen so far.

make a new entity, probably by copying elves. Change the creature from elf to tigerman. voila.

I created a bunch of different civs including a tigerman civ. I made them item thieves and bandits. Typical unruly, evil assholes. I also duplicated and modified their species, but you can use the default if you remove the _ADV from the end of the creature tag in the entity file

Here's my file;

Their entity file (paste in entity_default or create a new entity file)

Their duplicated and modified creature profile, I made them human-sized and gave them the intelligent tag. Paste in any creature raw or create one.

i had to upload their language file seperately, it's too big for a forum post. Otherwise you can just change [TRANSLATION:TIGERMAN] to [TRANSLATION:something other than tigerman]

Easiest and laziest way is this:

go into the 'raw' folder, create a new text file called 'entity_etc.txt'

than copy this into it:

Code: [Select]

entity_etc

[ENTITY:TIGERMAN]
[CREATURE:TIGERMAN]
[INDIV_CONTROLLABLE]


generate a new world and enjoy. Note that they will not have cities etc so you can only start as "outsider", and they are larger than default humans, so no armour unless you further mod the game. So the best solution for playability would be from the post above this one.
