I'm combating a Balor in Genesis,since it constantly pour flames,i have to killed him with ranged weapon(Steel Longbow+Singing Arrows).
However when he finally fall down after i takeout nearly all of his legs with only one hoof left,i can not hit him with arrow anymore....
Needless to say,when i come close and chop his head off,i got caught in the flames and subsequently died of bleeding.

Did i miss something?

I just find out if i stop sneaking then i can hit him....
Now the question become how do player initiate attack/force attack with a ranged weapon?

Nope, hitting a prone enemy with a projectile is completely impossible.

Weird, I've killed a bunch of guys with thrown rocks while they unconcious due to said rocks.
