Modding the Elven Diplomat back in: What am I doing wrong?

So I miss the days when the Elven Diplomat would come around to nag you about cutting down trees and then you'd cut down every tree just to spite them and then the Elves would declare war on you and show up with their crappy wooden Elf armor and weapons and you'd cut them up into bits and make them into +Elf Bone Bolts+. Good times, man, good times.

So I duly fired up vi and added the following to entity_default.txt under the Forest civilization definition:

As you can no doubt infer from the fact that I'm writing this, the dude did not show up from the Elven civilization. Any ideas what I did wrong?

Elves don't have Monarchs.  Change [APPOINTED_BY:MONARCH] to [APPOINTED_BY:DRUID].

The modding to bring back Elven diplomats has already been done.

Additionally, in case you weren't already aware, this sort of modification requires generating a new world.

Thanks for the link. That's a very informative thread. I like that you can mod in trade agreements with the non-Dwarven civs.
