I'm pretty sure this is the result of the place becoming ruins, but one location in my first world is the DARK DARK FORTRESS OF AXODEM.
It's just that dark.

I've also seen Dark Goblin Dark Fortresses, and occasionally Dark Dwarf Dark Fortresses.

usually dark dark fortresses spring up around -*evil*- areas.  i would assume.


saying dark dwarf dark fortress is not the same thing.  that is still just (race name) + (place name).

Dark dark fortress is a bit odd.
