Play Now! Adventurers getting progressively faster?

I've decided to settle with a world that i genned and began playing as human outsider like crazy.
My first adventurer had speed somewhere in the 900's
My second even higher.
And now my seventh has 1246 at the beginning. She has average in all attributes.
Can someone explain this to me?
Mind you these were the values at the start of the game.

That got to do with your agility also 900 is kinda low to me, can't really run away from boogeymen without striking at them at that speed

I don't understand it either.  I made two adventurers with the same agility and their speeds were significantly different.

There is randomness in the actual stats of characters.

Yeah, but i started with the same exact thing every time, copper spear and dagger.

Maybe your slower char was a fatty or more muscled weight or something did you check out your character's description?

Attributes use a range, Your point selection at the beginning just selects what part of the range you will start it

Could also Kinesthetic sense and Spatial Awareness have something to do with it?
My demigod human hammerman with max agility, high kin sense and spatial awareness started play with 2048 speed! (starting gear included)

Pfft, real men/dwarves kill the boogeymen instead of running away.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

I've noticed my speed constantly rising whenever I train swimming, ambushing, or shield user.  I haven't seen it max out, even when I started with a demigod with max agility.

Oh, that's just your swimming skill going up. Every rank you get makes you go slightly faster.

As far as I know, the stats you pick on creation are your inborn base stats.

They can improve to either double of the base, or to the base + 1000, whichever is higher. Though the maximum attribute cap is 5000, if you use a modded race with some high stats, this will cap you.

So even if you start with maximum strength, you have a lot of room to grow from there. In face, you have more room to improve with higher starting stats than with average ones.

I'm not sure about what causes the slight random variation in starting stats, though.
