Suddenly a battlefield

I appear to have stumbled into a gangwar. There are a bunch of warriors fighting eachother in this one camp and there have been three dead outlaws that have been added to my quest screen. What could of happened here?

Yeah but I didnt bring them there they were there when I arrived and most of them were already wounded. the bandits were beating up other bandit
