What's your favorite? I use fraps, but am largely dissatisfied with it.

READ: I use the free version of fraps. I need more than 30 seconds of video at a time.

Procaster is great when it works, and it's free. However, it is not great very often.

As a straight base, VH Screen Capture works pretty well. However be wary as it is quite wonky and glitchy at times. But if you can get around the user unfriendliness, it is pretty flexible.

Most people that record gaming for Youtube videos and such use the full version of Fraps by the way. It may not be perfect, but it may be the best available.

It all comes down to personal choice though.
