A fortress that imitates the dwarves.

I had an idea for a fortress.  What if in the spirit of your dwarven minions, you made sure that you were drunk the entire time you played?  Can you imagine what kind of a fortress you would make?  Might have to turn off invasions and embark on a serene area to survive, but it might be funny.

IIRC, someone has a fort where they do this. forget who and where I read it, though.

I did this once. I thought it was a wonderful idea to try and live in the river and kept getting frustrated when the dwarves wouldn't live underwater.

Life lesson? Don't listen to busted's "Year 3000" while drunk with dwarf fortress nearby. You want to live underwater and bang your great great great grand daughter

I do this every day, because I have a dangerous and life-destroying drinking problem.

It usually isn't so bad, actually. You make some mistakes here and there, and some people die, but that happens sober, too. The fun part is coming back the next day and having to perform Drunk Scene Investigation because you've forgotten what half of your projects were. It's almost like playing a succession game, but by yourself. You only have vague recollections of random highlights to go by. Otherwise, it's just perplexing questions you'd never thought you'd ever have to ask yourself, like, "why am I building giant golden dongs all over the place?"
