Artifacts as components.
« on: November 06, 2010, 11:48:01 am »

Just had an artifact rope created, and was wondering - if I used this rope as a component for a Well, would people still be able to admire the rope ?

Would it increase the value of the well?

Or, would it simply not be admired at all ?

Edit: On a side note, the rope's name is Deathscreams. I thought that was important and worth noting.

They won't admire the rope itself, but they will admire the ridiculously valuable well from which it was made.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

I have a well with an aluminum block, artifact mechanism (16800), artifact bucket (30000), and an artifact green glass chain (121000). Built in my dining hall, dwarves love using it.
